San Carlos

San Carlos is immediately north of Redwood City.

The White Oaks neighborhood is a very well-manicured area of winding streets, pretty 1940's vintage ranch houses with shake roofs, and oak trees.

There is a pleasant old-fashioned downtown area in San Carlos with several coffee shops and good old-fashioned stores where you can get your vacuum cleaner fixed or buy a light bulb. San Carlos also has a hilly area with superb views of the bay.
