Founded in Palo Alto in 1935, Cornish & Carey was the major player in Santa Clara and San Mateo County real estate for over 60 years, #1 in sales volume again in 1997.
In September, 1997, Cornish & Carey was acquired by Coldwell Banker, a large
international firm. C & C's cadre of almost 800 experienced agents continues
to operate in the same fashion as it did prior to becoming part of Coldwell
Banker, based in the same offices, mostly in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties.
With intimate knowledge of their market niches, many of these agents also have
developed strong ties to their local communities, and are involved in charitable
and public service roles within them. We now have access to a world-wide relocation
network and other resources that will increase our ability to serve our clients.
